A TRAIN "INVENTION."
You published an Article in your Thursday issue on "The New Invention," which r permits the uncoupling of portions of a train t while in motion on the French railways. This ,has been th& daily practice on some dozens of trains on the English systems for the past thirty years and, in addition to "slipping" coaches they pick up water, collect and deliver mails without any reduction of speed.
