MILK DELIVERY.
I notice that the City Council approves of tlie formation of a Metropolitan Milk Council, to regulate the milk trade. I think this is a wise move by the council from the point of view of road repair alone, as there is needless wear and tear of roads by having so many milkmen going over the same ground. I have heard that in one road alone in Auckland there arc no less than twenty-six milkmen's vehicles travelling clown the road every day, whereas with a properly organised system of milk delivery this could be done with one vehicle, thus saving the ratepayers a lot of money in annual repairs.
