WOMAN'S BEQUESTS.
COURT INTERPRETATION. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Mr. Justice Reed, in a judgment, held that the bequests in the will of Minnie Elizabeth Simmonds, late of Thames, of £400 to wounded and disabled soldiers of New Zealand, and £100 to a home for wounded sailors of the British Empire, were charitable gifts, and directed the Public Trustee, as the present trustee of the will, to submit a scheme for the disposition, and submit such scheme for the approval of the AttorneyGeneral.
