PRISONER AGAIN SENTENCED

"I am afraid there Is not very much I can say on behalf of the prisoner, said Mr.'Newbury, appearing for William Scarbroa, who came before Mr. Justice Herdman this .morning for sentence on a charge of breaking and entering a dwelling with intent to commit a crime. Counsel handed to the Court a letter which he suggested might be considered by the Prisons Board. His Honor said prisoner had twice been declared an habitual criminal. He had been in and out of gaol since 1904. Once the Prisons Board had released him, but he had not appreciated the board's action. "You have now been convicted of breaking and entering a house in Nelson Street, and will be. sentenced to two years' imprisonment with hard labour."
