Bentley beat John de Forest, 2 up, in the final of the German amateur golf championship at Berlin. SHIELDS AGAIN. BEATS ALLISON IN FINAL. (Received 2 p.m.) NEW YORK, August 20. The final of the men's singles in the Casino tennis tournament at Newport, Rhode Island, was won by Shields, who beat Allison, I—o, 11—9, β-l, o—3. In the final of the doubles Vines and Gledhill defeated Lott and Stoefcn, (3—2, B—o, 17—19, o—3. In the semi-finals of the woinen - s singles Mis. Wills Moody defeated Miss Betty Kuthall (England), 2—o, G—3, o—2.
