GOOD AMERICAN DEMAND.
The Dunedin Stock Agents' and Woolbrokers' Association reports:—
Large catalogues were again offered at Tuesday's sale, although the total offering would be slightly less than last sale. With the mild weather experienced during the last month skins are rapidly going off in quality, and the offering contained a big proportion of outgoing sorts. There was again a good demand on American account for bucks, which, compared with laet sale, were 3d per lb higher. Does were also in better demand, and generally showed a slight improvement. On an average the market may be quoted firm to slightly higher than last sale. The following is the range of prices:—
Summer broken, 5%d to 7%d; autumn broken, lid to 15d; second winter broken, lCd to 18d; first winter broken, 23d to 26% d; runners, 5%d to 8d; summers, 6%d to B%d; email, 2%d to 2%d; light racks, BJ/4d8 J /4d to 9%d; prime racks, to 9'/&d; dawny autumn, lOMsd to ll%d; early autumns, 15% d to 18% d; late autumn, 24d to 36d; second incoming, 20d to 31% d; incoming winter, 36d to 46d; early winter bucks, 57d to 60d; early winter doee, 24d to 28d; first epotted winters, 26d to 47% d; eecoiul winter bucks, 55Vtd to 67% d; second winter does, 33d to 35d; first winter bunks, 70d to 78d; first winter does, 39% d to 44% d; prime bucks, 79d to 80d; prime does, 42% d to i.oVid; second spotted winters, 20d to 28d; outgoing does, 18d to 25d; bucks, 36d to 42d; springs, 15d to 23% d; milky, 10% d to 13% d; fawn, 10d to 16d; winter fawn, 30d to 33d; summer black, 4d to 5%d; autumn black, 10d to lid; first winter black, 2(M to 24d; second winter black, 18d to 20d; hareskins, 4d to 10d; horse hair, to 12d.
