RECORD FLIGHT.
MODEL 'PLANE'S SUCCESS.
What is believed to be a Dominion record was made by a model aeroplane at Three Kings on Saturday afternoon. The model was constructed by Mr. G. M. Perkins, of 16, Milton Eoad, Mount Eden, and was timed by three stop watehee to remain in the air for 18m 375, after which it was lost to view.. Five machines were lost after good flights, the owners being members of the Auckland Aero Club model section. Application is to be made to the New Zealand Model Aeroplane Association for recognition of Mr. Perkins' flight as a Dominion record. The existing record of 5m 53s is held by Mr. W. B. Mackley,. of Market Eoad, Kemuera.
