AUCKLAND ROTARY CLUB.
TO-DAY'S MEETING. President Syd. Harbutt occupied the chair at to-day's lunch meeting of the Auckland Rotary Club, held in Milne and Choyee's reception hall. There was a good attendance and among the visitors were Messrs. J. D. Nisbet (Gla/;row), A. G. Elliott (Blenheim), H. E. Annetfc (Hamilton), G. G. Virtue (Sydney), R. Maddock (Gisborne), D. Taylor and W. Kerr (Wellington).
The speaker of the day was Mr. J. S. Cupit, child welfare officer, who spoke on the subject of State welfare work. The vote of thanks was moved by Rotarian Sir J. B. Smith.
