UNDERGROUND FLOW.
FOUND BY DIVINER. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, Thursday. A discovery which may be of great advantage to the Whangarei Co-opera-tive Dairy Company was made by Mr. J. N. Brigham, water diviner, yesterday. Using the strangely sensitive willow stick, responsive only to a few, Mr. Brigham discovered, near the eastern wing of the factory and where the additions are being built, an underground water 6upply. Several experimental bores are being worked, and samples of the water were sent for testing this morning. If the supply, which is fairly near the surface, is a good one, it will be used instead of the water from the Waiarohia Stream, ■which is not altogether suitable for the cooling- of the ammonia pipes. .
