SOCCER CHAMPIONSHIP.

GAMES FOR TO-MORROW.

FULL PROGRAMME FOR SENIORS. TRAMWAYS AND Y.M.C.A. ON BLANDFORD. All the senior clubs will bo back on championship fixtures to-morrow afternoon, when five games will be played. The two scheduled for Blandford Park will be Comrades v. Glen Innes, and Tramways v. Y.M.C.A. In the former contest the country team will have no easy task. Comrades are back to full strength after sonic weeks of weakness, Coiiowing injuries to players, and they have a leeway of points to make up. Glen lanes have also been showing improvement of late and arc as keen alter pointe as their opponents will be. There is every possibility that a close game will result, with more than a likelihood of a division of the spoils. Tramways and Y.M/J.A. are old rivals, and their meetings are generally productive of strenuous play. The transport service eleven has been losing points of late, but they are not yet out of the running for the 1 championship. With Y.M. further clown the list than they have been for two seasons, they have set themselves the task of rehabilitation, and their dashins style of play is likely to prove troublesome to their more experienced opponents. Tramways may start favourites for the points, but these are times of uncertainty, ev"-> -with Tramways. Ponsonby will find that to maintain their ■unbeaten record against Onehnnga on the Maitukau side is no easy matter. The homesters have a habit of upsetting calculations, and Ponsonby will require to be on their guard. Thistle will find a determined opposition at New Lynn, and Abels w'U require to put their best foot forward to take points from Shore United at Devonport. Teams are as follows:— PONSONBY.
