BERLIN, August 13. The proprietors of a cigarette factory in Altona have offered to give £50 to each woman employee who marries before 1934, and thus makes room for a male worker. Two hundred women have accepted the offer and CO others have relinquished their positions in favour of male relatives.
At Koenigsberg housewives are to receive premiums for employing maids instead of doing their own housework.
