LOYAL TRIBESMEN.
Halimzais Attacked on NorthWest Frontier. BRITISH TROOPS TO RESCUE. (British Official Wireless.) (Received 1.30 p.m.) RUGBY, August 13. The expected attack on the NorthWest Indian Frontier on the Halimzai tribesmen, by the Baczal group of Upper Mohmands, who live mainly on the Afghan side of Khapak Pass, was launched at five o'clock to-day. Fighting is taking place at the foot of Khapak Pass. '•
The Peshawar column of British troops was sent to the aid of the loyal Halimzais and left Ghalanao at one o'clock this morning, but reported no sign of the enemy.
Latest reports from the North-West Frontier state that Halimzai tribesmen wero attacked again by upper Mohrnands near the foot of the Khapak Pass. The Halimzais seeni-to have got tho worst of the encounter.
