Mr. Thomas Henderson Whitehead, of Godalming, Surrey, a banker, who died last May, left his £75,000 fortune—with the exception of a few minor bequests— to the Boy Scouts. He also left £2000 to Lord Baden-Powell, the Chief Scout, £2000 to Lady Baden-Powell, and £5000 to the Salvation Army, "to be used exclusively for the emigration of Britons to the Dominions."
