WOOL MARKETS. OPTIMISTIC TONE. (Received 11 a.m.) -LONDON, August 13. Mr. Devcrcux, representative of the Australian Wool Council in London, reports as follows: —Despite some anxiety concerning international politics and quietness due to holidays, the wool markets are optimistic. Yorkshire manufacturing is active. Continental establishments held stocks of toiis at July 31 totalling 30.000.000 kilos, a reduction, of over 1,000.000.
