WAIMANA COMPANY.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHAKATANE, Saturday. At the annual meeting of the Wainiana Dairy Company Mr. J. A. Mitchell, chairman of directors, presided. Cheese manufactured last season was 460 tons Mcwt; whey butter, 25,3211b. Of the output, 12.04 per cent was graded finest, 87.02 per cent first grade, and .04 per cent second grade. ■_ The retiring directors, Messrs. 1. V\. Wardlaw and .W..J. Craig, were unanimously re-elected, and Mr. F. Pndeaux was reappointed auditor. A dividend of 3J per cent is to be paid to shareholders. The chairman s honorarium was fixed at £25 per year, and the directors' at 10/ per meeting. Advances during the season, for butterfat supplied totalled £14,716 14/2, and after providing £1905 for extra payments a balance of £139 was left in the appropriation account, out of which the dividend is to be paid.
