ST. GEORGE'S CLUB
The jubilee season of the St. George* Rowing Club was celeorated on Saturday night, when a smoke concert was held m Hi.. Masonic Hall. The Rev. R. Or. Coats presided over a very large attendance of members and supporters. Among those picsent werel Mr. H. AV. Hudson commodore E II Bishop, U. G. Barker (Waitemata), W. Deans (North Shore Club) ..„..„ The trophies formed a valuable co»« ti . o . n ' and were presented to the winners by the Iter. R G P Coats, while Mr. H. W. Hudson mesentcd the cups donated by Mr. Davis to t P hf Auckland P interprovlncial eight-oar crew. Mr. Norden, chairman of the A.K.A. replied on behalf or the crew. A lengthy musical programme and toast list contributed to one of the most successful functions in tho club's history.
