HENDERSON INSTITUTE.
' The monthly meeting of the Women's Institute was held in the Forester's Hall on Thursday afternoon, Miss Ellis, vicepresident, presided. Mrs. Dodgson read an interesting report on the conference held in Christchurch. During afternoon tea Mrs. Fountain gave a talk on the "Poetry of Old Age." The competition was for a jar of spring flowers, Mrs. Craig being 1 and 2, and Mrs. Wilson 3. The hostesses for the afternoon were Mre. Maesey and Miss Chilwell.
