ARTILLERY DANCE.
Tho Artillery Drill Hall at Onehunga changed its appearance last Thursday night when a successful dance was held under the auspices of the 21st Battery N.Z.A. and the 21st Battery Girls' Gymnasium. The hall was hrightly decorated with flags and a military touch was added with two of the battery's wellshined guns on each side of the orchestral dais. Among those present were:— Mrs. D. Wilson, white satin beaute; Mrs. L. Catchpole, flame georgette; Mrs. Lane, saxe blue satin; Mrs. M. Bentley, cherry crinkled crepe, feather trimming; Mrs. Douglas, pink satin; Miss N. Coggan, white satin, white fur coatee; Miss M. Cunningham, ivory embossed georgette; Miss F. Cunningham, black satin beaute, orange coatee; Miss D. Cunningham, apricot taffeta and gold lace; Miss I. Payne, scarlet and black satin; Miss R. Thomson, black georgette; Miss E. Wolfingdon, scarlet crepe de chine; Miss M. Chadwick, salmon pink lace; Miss G. Roberts, applo green organdie; Miss M. Brown, pink embossed georgette; Miss A. Sharpe, pink lace and net; Miss M. Frost, orange satin; Miss I. Aitkenhead, flame crepe de chine; Miss D. Phillips, rose satin and silver lace; Miss H. Ross, blue crepe de chine; Miss P. Ross, white satin; Miss, M. Spiers, pale blue georgette, white coatee; Miss E. Claydon, green ring velvet; Miss S. Pepper, black georgette and organdie trimming; Miss I. Leslie, egg shell blue georgette; Miss M. Leslie, pink lace; Miss E. Williams, black satin and pink cape; Miss H. Jackson, claret satin; Miss M. Wood, pink organdie and velvet coatee; Miss J. West, midnight blue georgette; Miss J. Aitkenhead, white georgette; Miss Firth, black crinkle crepe; Miss K. dimming, black marocain; Miss F. MacDougall, turquoise blue georgette; Miss C. Mildon. figured ninon and velvet coatee; Miss M. Shand, wine satin beaute; Miss E. Gates, black and green crinkled crepe; Miss A. Firth, red crepe suede; Miss G. Ansell, black ring velvet, fur cape; Miss S. Hine, red ring velvet, fur cape; Miss F. Ansell, pink satin and cape to match; Miss A. Hadficld, pink satin; Miss M. Moylc, powder blue satin.
