RIFLE SHOOTING. ——• : ,'_' i THE SERVICES AT PENROSE. An interesting teams' competition was . staged on Saturday between Auckland City > Defence Rifle Club, Mount Albert Gram-. ' mar Old Boys and Ist Field Company New Zealand Engineers. Auckland City Club's ( team scored 074, Mount Albert G. 0.8. 523 - and New Zealand Engineers 369. The ' practices comprised seven applications . followed by ten rounds in 35 seconds at 300 yards and six rounds at the "running ) man" figure at 200 yarus. A remarkable ' score at the latter practice was made by * Rifleman M. Milligan (City Club), -who j- made 27 out of 30, a score very rarely equalled. G. G.
