BRITISH WOMEN IN FINAL. (Received 12 noou.) NEW YORK, August 11. In the eastern tennis (grass) championships at Rye, the semi-finals resulted: Miss Mary Heeley beat Miss Mae Ceurvorst, 6—2, 6 —l; and Miss Dorothy Round beat Miss Josephine Cruickshank, B—<j,B—<j, 7—5. This assures an All-British final for the third consecutive year. Miss Joan Ridley (Britain) and Mrs. Brunio (New York) have entered the semi-finals of the doubles by defeating Baroness Levi and Mrs. Van Ryu, U—4, 6—3.
