NO COUP PLANNED.

FREE STATE OPPOSITION. (Received 1 p.m.) DUBLIN, August 11. The ex-President of the Irish Free State and Leader of the Opposition, Mr. \V. T. Cosgrave, declares that the Government's story that the Opposition is preparing for a coup d'etat is fantastic nonsense and merely an attempt to divert attention from a disastrous policy which, he says, is ruining agriculture.

"We oppose all coups and conspiracies, whatever the origin and we invite the Government to do the same," added Mr. Cosgrave.
