ATLANTIC FARES.
SHIPPING CONFERENCE. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, August 11. A special committee of the principals of the North Atlantic Shipping Conference has agreed on a report on passage rates to bo submitted shortly to the full conference. The increase in cabinclass and tourist-class liners has led to a considerable lowering of transatlantic fares, and some authorities consider that the margin of price between first and cabin-class accommodation should UB i lessened.
