OFF TO HAWAII.
DOLORES DEL RIO LEAVES,
The haunting spell of romance, whispering waters, plaintive voices and rhythmic melodies wafted over lazy breezes in tho tropical Paradise of the Pacific has lingered with Dolores Del Rio since the beautiful Latin star's sojourn in Honolulu some time ago to make her greatest screen triumph, "Bird of Paradise." She has heard those melodies singing in her heart, has felt that dreamy, intoxicating spell, heard the beckoning call to return once again to those languorous isles of beauty and romance. And so the star has departed, with her husband, Cedric Gibbons, for Honolulu and a vacation. They will visit the charming scenes which formed the backgrounds to "Bird of Paradise," will see the volcano to which the star, in the role of Lua.ua, was. sacrificed by her tribesmen, will swim in the quiet warm waters and revel in the glorious perfume of tropical flowers. Upon their return Miss Del Rio will begin work in a new picture, "Green Mansions," with Joel McCrea.
