The week has been a broken one for business. Due to the holiday there was very little inquiry for any product. Prices for potatoes weakened further, during the week, tho quotation to-day being £4 12/0 " t i £1 15/ a. ton, f.0.b.. sacks included. Nominal on truck value is £3 15/. The next boat for the North is the Wingatui, due to load early next week. The oats market is very dull. Prices to farmers for A grade Gartons are up to 1/11 a bushel. Chaff is worth about £2 a tll on trucks. Fowl wheat is unchanged at 3/5 to ' iS/ii 1 ! a bushel, f.0.b., sacks extra.
