ON 'CHANGE.

MODERATE BUSINESS.

BLACKWATERS STILL HIGHER

Bidding at this morning's call was steady, with a generally firm tone. The chief feature was continued firmness in Blackwater Mines. A sale at £1 10/ was reported, after which buyers went to £ 1 10/3 without securing requirements, holders moving up to £1 11/. The scrip of the Associated Company Consolidated Golds also appreciated in sympathy, and buyers raised their limits to 13/10, holders asking 15/. Banks showed little change, but New Zealands seemed a shade easier, and after a reported sale at £2 9/9 the best offer was £'2 9/6. Holders of New Zealand Insurances were still asking £2 13/. Colonial Sugars steadied after the recent rise, and were available at £58 12/0. SALES COMPLETED. Last. Sals. AT THE 3.15 P.M.
