TITIRANGI LADIES' CLUB.
A successful open day was held on Thursday by the members of the Tltlrangl Ladies' Golf Club. The best gross score was that ot Mrs. T. W. Hosking, 89. Results:— Senior Medal.—Mrs. J. W. Craven, 03—16—77; Miss M. Miller, 94—15—79. Junior Medal.—Mrs. Henrys, 98—-24 —74; Mrs. J. Frater, 100 —10—81; Miss L. Jackson, 114—33 —81. Mrs. Frater won on the last nine holes. Foursomes. —Miss Cutfleld and Mlbs Lever, 5 down; Mrs. Sellars and Miss F. Williamson, and Mrs. G. L. Taylor and Mrs. Robinson, 7 down. Mrs. Sellars and Miss Williamson won on the last nine holes. The best putting card was that of Miss B. Hill, who also returned the three best putting cards. NORTH SHORE LADIES' CLUB. A handicap foursomes will be played by the ladles of the North Shore Ladles' Golf Club next Wednesday (play to start at 10 o'clock). Draw for C grade match :—Mrs. I. Taylor v. WHAN (tAKEI LADIES' TOURNEY. MISS C. BRAT IS CHAMPION. The Whangarei ladles' golf tournament terminated yesterday, when the final of the singles championship was played. Miss C. Bray defeated Miss Barriball, 4 and 3. The weather was showery and the strong wind made accurate <?olf difficult. A Canadian foursome was won by Misses Cnrruth and Self.
