YOUNG WOMAN IN MOTOR CAR
VEHICLE COES OVER BANK.

While backing her motor car out of a garage in Ivoni 11 i Road, Hataitai, last evening, Miss Eileen Ailsa McDonald, school teacher, aged about 24, went over a bank and was killed.
Miss McDonald was stationed at Martinborough and was oil a week-end visit to lier home. Ivonini Road is fairlysteep and it appears that when backing out of the garage the car gained momentum "and ran down the hill. »
Before Miss McDonald coukl regain control tbe car went over a bank eight feet deep and pinned her beneath it. She was dead when found.
