M.P.'S CAR DAMAGED.
TREE FALLS ON - GARAGE. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, this day. Yesterday a gust of wind blew a halfrotten inaerocarpa tree across the garagM of Mr. H. M. Rushworth, with the result that his motor car was crushed almost to the ground and was considerably damaged. In order that Mr. Rushworth might attend the protest meeting at Hiknrangi last uiglit he had to travel in a special ear.
