Mr. IT. G. R. Mason, M.P., leaves for Wellington this evening by the Limited. Mr. J. B. Donald leaves for Wellington this afternoon to join the Makura for Tahiti.
Mr. H. Morpeth left for Christclmrch last evening to attend a meeting of the executive of the New Zealand Trotting Confercncc.
Mr. F. Campbell, president of the New Zealand Manufacturers' Association, arrived from Wellington this morning by the Limited.
The Hon. C. E. Macmillan, Minister of Agriculture, arrived in Tauranga yesterday from Wellington, and leaves this evening 011 his return.
Mr. J. A. Mitchell, private secretary to the Prime Minister, arrived from Wellington by the Limited this morning. He is staying at the Grand Hotel.
Mr. Justice Frazer, chairman of the
Transport Appeal Board, arrived from Wellington by the Limited this morning to resume the sittings in Auckland.
Mr. S. S. Dean, chairman of the management committee of the New Zealand Rugby Union, arrived in Auckland this morning from Wellington, and is at the GrancJ Hotel.
Mr. H. If: Sterling, chairman of the Government Railways Board, arrived in Auckland this morning by the Limited, and is staying at the Grand Hotel. He will leave for Wellington to-morrow afternoon.
Mr. J. A. W. Bennett, M.A., a graduate of the Auckland University College, leaves this month for England to enter -Merton College, Oxford. lie took his degree, with first-class honours, in English last year. He is the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. E. Bennett, Rocky Nook.
Mr. C'Jias. M. Luke, junior, manager of Briscoe and Company, Ltd., Wellington, and latterly associated on the executive of Briscoe, E. W. Mills and Co., Ltd., has received notice of retransfer to Briscoc and Company, Ltd., Auckland. He has been connected with Briscoe and Co., Ltd., for nearly forty
years.
