At eight o'clock yesterday morning engines from the City and Western Districts fire stations attended an outbreak of flro in Mr. A. Parkinson's cabinet factory in Ponsonby Road. Slight damage was done to one wall. The fire is thought to have started from a gas-ring that had been left burning. Two hours later a car owned by Mi'. H. Withers was the cause of another cull to the central station to WakefieUl Street. Damage was done to. the engine and wiring. The car was insured for £150.
