WHOLESALE QUEEN.

A successful bridge, mah jong and 500 card party was held on the balcony of Milne and Clioyco yesterday afternoon in support of Mies Betty Endean, the Wholesale Queen, for Prosperity Week campaign. Mrs. Stanley Hadlow was the organiser, and was assisted by a committee of the following: Mesdames C. G. Macindoe, L. Heard, Fogerty, Cording, and Turner. Over 43 tables were occupied and a good sum will be added for votes.
