A medal round for a trophy was played al Pupuke links on Saturday In conjunction with the second round (eclectic) for the Hawes Cup. The best cards returned were: ;T. E. Palmer. 81—15—0(1: .1. T. McCorklndale. 78—0—09; B. M. Seilars. 84—14—70; A. R. Stephenson, SC—ls— 71 ; P. A. Pox, SO —1? —71. 11l the third round for the Shaw Cup A. R. Stephenson beat 11. T. Could. 1 up. at the 19th. and A. B. Williamson beat J. Drought, 2 and 1. In the third round for the captain's prize .T. K. rainier beat C. Jaggs. 4 and 3; P. M. Seliars beat *'. B. Thomas. 2 and 1. Next Saturday a four-hall best-ball match will he played for a trophy. Players choose partners.
