SCHOOL JOURNAL.
TENDERS FOR PRINTING. FOR YEARS 1931 AND 1935. (By Telegraph.—Special to "Star.") WELLINGTON, this day. The arrangement recently made by the Hon. K. Masters, Minister of Education. now in Euglaiicl. for the printing of school readers, does not involve the discontinuance of the "School Journal." The Hon. J. Bitchener, acting-Minister of Education, has announced the intention of the. Government to call fresh tenders for the printing and distribution of the "Scllpol Journal" for 1934 and 1935. The Minister states that the present contract expires with the next issue of the journal. Tenders will be advertised in the principal daily newspapers in the four chief centres, and in addition to advertising a special notification of intention to call fresh tenders will be given to the Master Printers' Association, the present contractors and the Government Printer, who will be asked to compete with outside firms.
