Manchukno May Take Possession
By Force.
RUSSIA CLAIMS £25,000,000.
KOBE, July 9,
Negotiations for the sale of the Chinese Eastern Railway have reached a deadlock because Russia asks £25,000,000 and Manchukuo offers £5,000,000,
In the event of the negotiations not being resumed the Manchukuo Government will take possession of the railway forcibly, besides blockading the present termini. The Japanese Foreign Office has assented to this proposal.
