INDIANS PLAY NOTTS.
LONDON, July 9.
The West Indies cricketers yesterday began a match against Notts. Batting first, the visitors made 314 runs (Headley 68, Merry 51 and Achong 54). Notts in their first venture had made 35 for one wicket when stumps were drawn.
