ATHENIAN CLUB.
Bright entertainment was supplied by Mrs. Bayhurst and Mifis Nora Kirkby on Saturday night, when they were the hostesses for the Athenian ■Club evening, held in tho operatic rooms, Grafton Eoad. A largo number of members and visitors attended. The musical and vocal programme was rendered by Mcsdames McKechnie and It. Stone, Miss Mardi Brookes, Mr. McLennan. Miss Nonio Wright, Messrs. Jack Parsons and Georgo Moody gave sin enjoyable short sketch. Among those present were: Mesdames Munro Emanuol, Albert W. Wright, E. O. Bennett, Curtis, A. Jaques, Boyle, B. Kissen, J. W. Wilson, Dovelin, R. Stone, L. McLellan, P. Crump, C. Trcmblatt, S. Brookes, G. Phillips, N. Recce, Houlihan, Misses Hazel Raines, Beryl Smith, Doris Mannont, Clare Seale, Nonic Wright, Betty Williams, S. Marks, Rona McGregor, "Laura and Ida Walker, Joyce Grant, Gladys Melville, Ida Lock wood, Johnson, Titch marsh (2).
