The fellowship which exists among lnemberß of alpine and tramping clubo was very evident at the annual at l«jme of the Mount Egmont Alpine Chib at Dawson Falls, Mount Egmont, during the week-end. Ten clubs were represented among the attendance of about 120, the home club supplying over twothirds of those present. Other clubs represented were the Ski Club of Great Britain, the New Zealand Alpine Club, the Ruapehu and Tasman Ski Clubs, the Taranaki Alpine Club, the Stratford Mountain Club, and the Levin-Waio-pehu, Tararua, and Victoria University College Tramping Clubs, and there was also a party from Napier.'
Fine weather' on Saturday gave promise of enjoyable tramps and climbs yesterday, but heavy rain set in during the night and continued yesterday, with the result that activities were confined to the social side. After the toast list had been honoured there was dancing in the camp house until midnight on Saturday.
