RETURN, OF A. E. COOKE. WILL PLAY FOR RICHMOND. A■tele< T ram was received in Auckland to-day slating that A. E. Cooke, the star international of two Rugger codes, intends to return to the city from Waihou next week. He will take hifl place again ■in the ranks of the Richmond Rovers Rugby League team, in the Roope. Rooster knock-out competition, which will commence on July 22. Cooke played brilliant football against the Englishmen last season at Carlaw Park, and in Christchurch. This year he has been away from Auckland, and has been unable to assist his club in the championship matches. He has taken part in several Rugby Union "house*' games to keep himself fit, and is keen to don the jersey again. '
