Nominations for the meeting to lie held by the Auckland Racing Club at Ellerslie on July 22 close with the secretary, Mr. W. S. Spence, at 5 p.m. next Friday.

HORSES FOR SYDNEY. Ten horses will be leaving Wellington for Sydney on the Wanganella to-morrow. Xine are New Zealand-owned and one is cioing to an Australian owner. The Otaki trainer, A. D. Webster, is taking eight horses. They are: Bayacre, Huntique, Movie Star, Hunt the Slipper. The Mirror, Cay Seton. a two-year-old Lord Quex — Wedded filly, and a rising two-year-old Paper Money—Piquant colt. Gay Seton is the two-year-old Gay Sheila—Persia colt, who is now owned in partnership by Webster and Mr. C. Matthews.. The other two horses who will be on board are Mr. M.
