AUCKLAND AFFAIRS. SATURDAY'S ARRANGEMENTS. The senior division committee of the A.F.A. continued its discussion last night of the problem presented by the extended senior grade and the lengthy competitions to be. got through this season. It was stated that if the second round of the championship is played, and with the cup ties, representative games, etc., there is a possibility of the season reaching into November. Several schemes were advanced by the clubs, which had discussed the question, and various proposals were made. The clubs, however, were agreed that the championship competition should not be interfcrred with. It was decided to recommend to the Control Board that the senior clubs were unanimous in the opinion that the second round of the championship games should be finalised before the Falcon Cup competition was commenced. A suggestion that it might be .possible play the eliminating rounds of the Falcon Cup competition as mid-week matches was also put forward. The fixtures for tills Saturday nre : — Senior.—Comrades v.
