DARGAVILLE NEWS.
Aliss D. Parkes, of Dargaville, is spending a holiday in tho Taranaki district. Afiss E. Thompson, of the staff of the Thames Hospital, is on her vacation, and is visiting Airs. A. Thompson, Tangaihi, Dargaville. Aliss I. Baker, of Auckland, is the guest of Airs. A. Attwood, of Tangaihi, Dargaville. The annual dance in aid of the Plunket Society was held in the Pukehuia Hall, Dargaville. The hall was gaily decorated with nikaus, streamers and paper hats, which lent a really carnival air to the dance. Alcmbers of the committee were: Alesdames .T. Biddies, T. A. Ballantyne, T. R. Wreaks. After supper Airs. A. E. Harding (president of the Dargaville Plunket Society) thanked all those present for their support, and gave a short resume of the society's activities during the past year. Novelty dances, wore won by Afisscs G. Dawson .and Af. Bourke. Among those present were: Alesdames A. E. Harding, J. Biddies, J. Sloane, AI. C. Astley, E. H. Stoddart, F. Worslcy, F. E. Barnard, J.
