DRURY DEVIATION.
1 wish to draw the attention of ratepayers of the Franklin County and all motor taxpayers to the waste of public money on the Drury deviation. Thousands of pounds have been, and still are, being spent on the present route of the great South Road. Many nieu and lorries have for months been working night as well as day, so why, after all this expense, divert to a deviation which is unnecessary'.' The proposed deviation will make no improvement, but be a greater -menace t» motorists and pedestrians. .Ratepayers should wake up and prevent this.
