OLD CITY BUSINESS.
Before the days when the Auckland Transport Board built their own tiam cars, an old-established Auckland manufacturing company, D.S.C. and Cousins and Cousins, Limited, were making trams in their buildings in Kitchener Street. Their history goes back 40 vears, and their business career is full of interest. Recently the firm went into liquidation, but it is of interest to note that the leading hands of the old firm have decided to carry on the business of motor body building under the name of D.S.C. and Cousins, Limited, at the premises.
