FOOTBALL MISHAPS.
A number of young men were injured playing football on Saturday. All were taken to the hospital by the St. John Ambulance, and their condition to-day was not serious. Concussion was received by Lloyd Kernott, aged 20, of Opaheke Road, Papakura, while playing at Grey Lynn for Papakura third grade; and lan Cauldray, aged 18, of 32, Richmond Avenue, Northcote, playing for Northcote third grade at Onehunga. Edwin Taylor, aged 21, of Queen Street, Northcote, broke a leg while playing second grade Rugby for Northcoto at Western Springs.
