That the Special Rate struck and recurrent to provide Interest and Sinking Fund on Water Loan No. 3 remain as struck, but that only an amount sufficient •to meet requirements be collected as follows:— , „ For the No. 3 Water District n rate of Id in the £ on the ratable value of all ratable properties appearing in tlie Valuation Roll In the said district. A rebate of 2} per cent will be allowed to every ratepayer upon all the above rates, provided the same arc paid within thirty days of the due date thereof. The above-mentioned rates and the Nonconsumers' Water Rate hereafter, mentioned to he payable in one sum on the Seventeenth day of JULY, 1933. to tbe Collector appointed by the Borough Council at the Council Chambers, Valley Road, Mount Eden. WATER RATES. The said Council, in pursuance of the powers enabling it in that behalf, intends on TUESDAY, the 27th day of June, 1933, to make and levy the following Water Rate in respect of ordinary supply for the year commencing July 1, 1933, and ending June 30, 1934:— Upon all lands nnd buildings to which water is supplied, but no meter has been installed for the measurement of the quantity used, the annual value of which lands and buildings as appearing in the Valuation Roll does not exceed £12 10/, a rate of 10/, and exceeding £12 10/, then the rate of five per centum on such Annual Value, plus 5/ for each Bath in use on the premises, and 15/ for each Water Closet in use on the premises. The said rate to be payable at the Council Chambers, Valley Road, Mount Eden, in one sum, on the First day of JULY, 1933 to the Collector appointed by the Council. Upon all lands and buildings (excluding the area transferred from Mount lioskill Road District by Order-in-Council, dated the 21st day of September, 1925), to which water is supplied by meter l'or ordinary supply, a rate equivalent to 1/11 (one shilling and elevenpence) per thousand gallons used, but such rate to be not less than £1 10/8 per annum. Upon all lands and buildings in that portion of the district transferred from Mount Rosldll Road District by Order-in-Council dated 21st day of September, 1923, to which water is supplied by meter for ordinary supply, a rate equivalent to 2/4 (two shillings and fourpence) per thousand gallons used, but such rate to be not less than £1 17/4 per annum. Tbe above-mentioned minimum rates of £1 10/8 and £1 17/4 respectively to bo paid in advance and the balance of such rate at the time the meter is read, to the Collector appointed by the Council, at the Council Chambers, Valley Road, Mount Eden. NON-CONSUMERS' RATE. Upon all ratable properties to which water can be, but is not supplied, situate within 100 yards from any part of the Waterworks, a rate of One-half of the rates above-mentioned, to be paid with the Consolidated Rate in "one instalment, such rate being for the year ending September 30, 1933. The Estimates upon which the rates above-menioned are being struck, having been approved by the Council, are, together with the Valuation Roll, open for inspection at the Town Clerk's Office during business hours.
