TAKAPUNA GUN CLUB,
The Takapuna Gun Club held a shoot at its grounds, Barry-s Point, -i-dka - puna, on Saturday. The weather' -conditions were ideal. Results: —- , — ' Seven-bird Eye-opener. —.T. Heesi-Gfiorge '(14yds), R. H. Bartley ( 15ydi) , /ft- §. 'Mowbray (12yds), and Kay-Strafcton/ all tied with the possible of/ seven pirdsj They decided to shoot-off lor the. sweepstake money in the trophy mutch--' J-.'Mc-Gregor (14yds), .T. C. Whitney (Myds) ■with six breaks, and Chamberlain (llyas) "with five breaks were the next best scores. 15-Bird Handicap Match. —W. E. (15yds) shot 14 birds and won outright the trophy and first sweep money. R. S.Mowbray (12.vds) was runner-up with jus breaks. Kay-Stratton (15yds), K. Hhartley (16yds), Chamberlain (ll.vds).and J. Rees-George (14yds) all shot 1- birds - cach and divided third money in the sweep. R. S. Mowbray won the sweep money held over from the eye-opener match Wltn ...the total score-of 20. birds. First Seven-bird Gimcrack (back one yard each hit). —R. ,H. Bartley (13-19 yds) shot the possible of seven, birds and won outright the sweep money. J. JHCuregor ■ (i2-l?yds), Chamberlain (11-10 yds), and W. E. Grant (14-19 yds) all shot six birds cach. J Rees-George (12-10 yds), Lu.J. Henderson (13-17 yds), Kay-Stratton (1317yds), J. C. Whitney (14-lSyds) and JR. B. Mowbray (11-15 yds) all shot five birds Second Seven-bird Gimcrack.— KayStratton (13-18 yds) sliot six birds and •won outright the sweep, money. J.
