(By Telegraph.—rress Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. After spending all yesterday in negotiation, tlie Mayor, Mr. D. G. Sullhan, by consent of the Minister of Employment, the Hon. A. Hamilton, securcd a respite of one week regarding the computeory order tliat an additional 50 married men, as well as those who l' a^ e volunteered, should go to camp at Ashley to-morrow. In the meantime no penalty will be imposed on those refusing to go to cam)). An endeavour will be made to secure enough labour voluntarily, so reliving the necessity for compulsion.
