SLANDER ALLEGATION.
CLAIM FOB. £2500 DAMAGES. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. A damages claim for £2500 is being heard by Mr. Justice Ostler to-day. Reginald Charles Boddie, sales organiser, of Wellington, alleges slander against James Dickson Siewvright, retired, also of Wellington. Plaintiff complains of statements alleged to have been made falsely and maliciously by defendant to one H. J. Lockyer affecting plaintiff's credit and reputation in connection with the business of a syndicate for the manufacture of a chemical preparation in which the parties were associated.
