FURTHER REMAND.
ALLEGED MANSLAUGHTER.
RELIEF WORKER'S DEATH.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) DUMTSDrN", tliis day. Arthur John Thomas Wilkinson, charged that on June 3 he killed Peter Smith, thereby committing manslaughter, was to-day further remanded till June 15, when the inquest will also be held. Peter Smith, a relief worker, waa allegedly struck by a man in front of a hotel on the afternoon of King's Birthday, and in falling he sustained injury to his head, from which ho subsequently died. On the following Monday Wilkinson, a freezing works employee, read the account of Smith's death and gave himself up to the police.
