OBITUARY.
MRS. JOHN BROADY.
The death has occurred at Northcotc at the age of 7!) years of Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Broady, wife of Mr. John Broady, a well-known old identity of Auckland. Deceased was born at Cheshire, England, and arrived at Auckland in 18C5 in the ship Andrew Jackson, after an eventful voyage. She had been a resident of Northcote for forty years and a member and worker of the Nortlicoto Presbyterian Church for thirty years. Her golden wedding was celebrated last year. Mrs. Broady is survived by her husband, three eons— Messrs. Herbert H. Broady, Percy Broady, Arthur Broady—and three daughters—Mesdames Pearee, Ridings and Parrish.
